Art installation
For Denver Zoo Lights in November 2025, we turned an existing metal-sided steel building into a waterfall. The wall was never meant to be a projection surface, so we built one for it.
A surface cut to fit the building. We brought in a custom vinyl projection material and draped it over the metal siding, then custom cut it to follow the shape of the building. The finished surface measured 30 feet wide by 20 feet tall.
A projector built for the weather. A single projector carried the whole image, and it had to live outdoors all month. Outside temperatures ranged from about 80 degrees F to freezing during November, so we built a custom enclosure that was weather resistant and temperature controlled. It kept the projector cool while it ran and warm when the weather dropped near freezing.
Run and monitored remotely. The installation ran for almost a month straight, and we ran and monitored it remotely.
The content. We licensed the waterfall footage and fitted it to the custom surface.
